Lieutenant Frank Hebert holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colby-Sawyer College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from New England College, and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership and Administration from New England College. In 2005, he joined the Weare Police Department as a part-time Patrol Officer. Later that same year, he accepted a full-time Patrol Officer position with the agency. In 2007, he expressed his sincere interest and received the appointments of D.A.R.E instructor and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). In 2008, he took on the role of Detective and Evidence Technician. In 2013 he achieved the rank of Sergeant.

Lieutenant Hebert works closely with every member of the police department. While clearly holding a profound interest in teaching our 5th graders the dangers associated with drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and violence he is also tasked with investigating crimes on all levels. He believes strongly that the most successful police officers recognize the absolute need to adapt to the given situation while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
